When thinking of my web page and blog, in thoughts of the future I have many dreams and ambition. I hope that in the future I will have a web page that will be well designed and easy to move around to different sites to work on and find resources. I hope that in the Future when I am a teacher, that I will be able to use this well designed site for my students and their parents to find course assignments, links to web resources and who I am as a teacher. I hope that this site will be a nice advantage for people to see what goes on in my future class. Other things that I have thought of adding to my site were the following:
-Grades
-Assignments
-Resources
-Pictures
-Videos
But, until now I hope to be successful in my web design/page. I love to learn new thing and share my accomplishments with classmate, students, parents, and anyone wanting to visit.
Thank you~ Mary Meagan Behnke

Googling... Your own name.
It is fascinating to go on a web browser and type in your own name in the search column. There are many things that do not even pretain to you. Some may find that there are others that have the same name as you, others may find something totally bizzar that has nothing to do with your name. And finally some people may not find anything when they type in their names for a search. For me, I only found one article that pertained to me. The article was from my serior year in High School, when I was a member of the Varsity softball team. The article was a state wide article that pertain to over one hundred teams. This article was sent to my coach at the time, it told of records and honors of individuals and teams. I was in the article for recieving the Senior All Academic Award for having a GPA that was above an 3.5. To go along with that my team also was ranked 42nd for District Sportsmanship Award out of 128 teams that recieved an award. I think that many people could find out that I am a hard working student and that I have good sportmanship. I like to be a team player. One thing you will notice when looking at this atricle, it that I am called Meagan Behnke, instead of Mary because I go by my middle name. So if anyone would try to google me, the best way is to type in "Meagan Behnke".

Project Gallery
I chose to pick a topic I like, that I would like to teach and find pages and or blogs to have as RSS Feeds. I have chose three different pages and or blogs. The first feed I came across was a blog set up by an Elementary teacher, who talks about different units her students are learning, one of the pages in the blog dealt with ancient romans. I also like that she deals with concerns with parents and students. The second feedback I chose was about American and Civil War History, about our History which I like to have refrence to, as well as other diversities. The third and final chose for a feedback that I thought would be helpful on my blog, is an informational page that has many resources linked to its page. This is good page to link to primary sources and different projects to do with students or to look at with students. I picked three different feedbacks to give my readers a variety in information as well as resources. I know as a students that I like to have a variety because not all people are alike in learning or any other way. So to my readers I love comments, and feedback. Thank you.

Me, and my intentions...
Hi everyone,
My name is Mary Behnke. I am currently a junior at MSU, and I am majoring in Elementary Educaion. My concentration is in Social Studies, in History. I love learning new things and helping others. The wonderful thing about teaching is that teachers are always learning. I decided when I was a junior in High school that I wanted to work with children and I started out helping out in a classroom and mentoring. This experience made me realize that I wanted to be a teacher. The power to help and teach others is so amazing to me.

Blogs in a Creative Way!!!
As I have looked through many different Teacher Blogs, I have had the advantage to see different ways to organize and add many different things to my own blog. In Mrs. Cassidy's blog, I liked that she was very welcoming and had a web cam and a place to chat with others if her and her class was near the computer. I also think that Mrs. Cassidy's blog is very easy to read and fing things, because this page is very organized. I love the fact that all the students are included in the page and each assignment and entries are greatly organized. Over all Mrs. Cassidy's page is really nice and attractive to the parents of the students, because everyone is included in this Blog!
My First Blogs
My first blog, was Miss Frandersen's Kindergarten Class blog. I liked this blog because she included her students in all the her stories and activity updates. The pictures are a great way for the parents and students to see what goes on in the class. I also enjoyed the slideshows. I liked that Miss Frandersen added different links, so that her students would be able to get different assignments from online, if they were absent. This is also a great way for the students parents can see the work and assignments their child missed or needs to make-up. In all I really enjoyed this blog, I also believe that this page is very attractive to all people.
